Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. As of May 26th, 17 Pennsylvania counties will be moving to the green phase of re-opening on Friday, May 29th with even more slated for June 5th. We will need to continue to work within the guidelines of both green and yellow counties as we bring construction into full swing. Hawbaker and his wife, Thelma, founded a small excavation company with the goal to build, serve, and advance local communities. First contracting with local State College builders, the company grew and expanded, officially becoming incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1965. Currently operating 19 quarries and 7 asphalt production facilities across Pennsylvania, and southern New York, Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. continues to serve customers with an array of services including asphalt paving, road construction, gas well service, and construction, as well as engineering design services. Our experience ranges from the construction of unpaved forest roads to the Interstate Highway system. We can also construct permanent retaining walls with sheet piling. Our shoring capability can be used to facilitate construction in progress or long term repair of existing structures.
